I was driving home the other night and passed the fair grounds.  I saw a ton of smoke in the parking lot and saw fire trucks and police out there.  I couldn't see what was on fire.  I didn't think much more about it until the next day.  When I went by in the morning, the parking lot was empty, except for this burnt out car.  Then I started to think.  Funny how the oddest things make you take one situation and apply it to others.  Anyways, I thought of myself, people in general and everyone on here.  We have been talking a lot about the Secret and positive thinking, etc...

I starting thinking about why did that car start on fire, was it outside forces, or more likely, inside forces.  Probably the cause was bad maintance.  Then, thinking like I do now, I started thinking about us, the human form of that vechicle.  Could bad maintance make us burn out or up, catch fire and then let outside forces extinguish us.  We do this all the time.  We get all excited about something, but without knowing how to properly maintain that thought or program, we let others tell us why not. 

We are what we think about most.  If we guard our thoughts and keep them pure, honest and positive, we can and will be whatever we want to be and do whatever we want.  God has placed these inside us, we just have to get excited and turn on the fire and keep it burning, by talking about it, thinking about it constantly, praying about it, believing in it, and acting on it.  Don't listen to the negitive people, even our good meaning family members and friends.  We can do all things though God.

This is just an update.  I have never had this kind of success with a diet before.  But this is different.  It is a lifestyle change.  I am back to the gym 3 days a week and eating very little carbs.  Mostly all protein.  My wife is down 19 lbs also.  It is the Kim Kin plan.  We love it and will never stop.  When we get down to the weight we want, then we will be doing the maintance.  Just thought I would share.  Take care and God bless.

I have been talking about dreams and goals lately.  They are God given and deserve our attention.  They are what gives us a direction and a road map on how to get there.  Without dreams or places we want to go, any direction you go won't matter.  You didn't have a destination you wanted to go anyways.  Does that point out the importance a little more?  You have to have them and ponder them and picture them and meditate on them, but how?

What do you do to keep you dreams (or your prize) in front of your?  What methods do you use to visualize them?  Are they writen?  Are they just floating in space somewhere, and if you are lucky on some clear night you may catch a glimpse of it?  Do you have them posted somewhere?  Do you have pictures of them?  If it is you somewhere, or at some stage in life, can you picture yourself there? 

It is imparitive that you develope a plan to help you be constantly thinking of your dreams and goals. 

I have a picture of my NEW house on my fridge and on my phone.  I am going to make it a screen saver.  I have my goals writen and in my wallet and I read them several times a day.  I am now closing my eyes a little before going to bed and picturing myself on the beach with my wife, or me making another client happy, or whatever.  Keep you dreams infront of you and you will have them sooner then you know.

this was just a little pearl of wisdom.;)

I came across something a couple of days ago that I just had to share.  It really made me stop and think as I am sure it will you too.  It is in a book called the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles.

I'veheard most of my life that people are where they are due to their environment and upbringing.  They can't change what they are.  I say BULL!  We are all self thinkers, and can be self teachers.  We don't have to keep doing certain things because that is how I've always done them, or that is how my family has always done it; no one loves me so here I am.  It is time to get off your butt and make yourself into what God had intended for you. God didn't make junk and so you must be worth something.  It is time to get up, dust yourself off and get to work on yourself and what you want to be.  Dig out your old dreams and see if they are still what you want.  If so, NOW is your time. 

No person is poor because there isn't any opportunity for them.  True, in some places, you may have to work harder, but your life will be so much fuller.  No one can take your opportunities away but you yourself.  If one opportunity is shut down, God will provide you will others.  If you keep your eyes towards Him and thank him for all you have and all that is has for you, God will meet you where you are and open ways you never knew where there before. 

No one is poor due to shortness of the supply of riches.  God has provided more then enough for all.  He wants to open up his storehouses to us, but we must become one in unity with Him.  How we do this is through prayer.  He has a visible supply and invisible supply just waiting for our receiving.  When something seems to be gone, new and better things always seem to appear. 

It is natural and God given impulse for us to want to live more and fuller lives.  There is nothing wrong with it.  We just having to be doing all things for the right reasons.  God gave you the dreams you have and he wants you to be an outward expression of Him and His love.  God always makes things and people move towards you to fill your life, but we have to be able to receive and recognize these when they come our way.  There cannot be any lack, otherwise God will contradict himself and make His own works nullified. 

We are kept poor due to ourselves.  Open up to Him and He will add to you.  God Bless and Peace be yours.  Earl "The Pearl" Sorrells
